Hi Guys,

It's finally Summer! As you will all know from my previous OOTDs, it's been extremely cold here. Even though it's supposed to be summer, it's been absolutely FREEZING and has felt more like winter!

Finally this week, we managed to get a lot of sun, with the weather being 27 degrees every day and the office being almost unbearable!

This weekend, it was still super hot, but we had a lot of windy weather, which is why I opted to wear jeans instead of a dress - I didn't want a Marilyn Moment! hehe

Here's my outfit of the day for windy summer weather! (Sorry about the dirty mirror - I promise my clothes are clean! 😀) Also, sorry that the lighting isn't too good either!

What I'm Wearing:
Top: Hollister (Similar)
Jeans: Marks & Spencer (here)
Watch: Michael Kors (here)
Shoes: Dorothy Perkins (Similar)
Bag: Michael Kors (here)

Enjoy,
Chloe xoxo

Hi Guys,

For a while, I've had some of you asking for an updated Makeup Collection video - the last one I uploaded was over 3 years ago and it's grown A LOT since.

So I listened to all of you, and managed to tidy up my makeup, and organise it a little more. I finally filmed the video and uploaded it to my youtube channel a couple of months ago.

When I was filming, I didn't realise it would be so long, and that I had so much makeup. Once I started to edit, I thought 'this isn't going to fit in one video because I'd be bored watching an hour and a half'! So, I decided to split it into two videos which are 30 minutes long, as I felt this would be easier to watch, and felt that it was JUST TOO LONG!

Part 1:

Part 2:

So, if you manage to watch both parts in one sitting, you're incredible!

Also, I've posted my first Makeup Collection video below for you, so you can see just how much it's grown and changed.

My Storage

Chest of Drawers: Ikea Hemnes Chest Of 3 Drawers
Acrylic Nail Polish Holder: Amazon
Perfume Holder: The Range
Acrylic Lipstick Holder: Amazon
9 Drawers: Ikea Alex 9 Drawers
Acrylic Draw Trays: TKMaxx & Amazon (Interdesign)
Pink Baskets: The Range
White Draw Trays: Lakeland

I will be doing a declutter video very soon, as I feel I have too many things and I either haven't used or don't use a lot of the items. I'll let you know what I manage to film this.

Enjoy,

Hi guys,

Here's my second Outfit Of The Day on my blog! - I'm on a roll here!

Recently, it's been absolutely FREEZING here in England, and hasn't felt like spring at all. Considering it's almost Summer and the the end of Spring, you would have thought that we would have had more than 3 nice sunny days this year. Honestly, this time last year, we had a huge heat wave and everyone was wearing dresses and shorts, and now we have to wrap up warm! Typical English weather! 😁

As the weather was still chilly, but sunny, me and Neil decided to go for a drink at his favourite place in the world - The Belfry. He spends most of his time there when not at work playing golf on the courses, so a nice change for him then, ey? I must say, it is a rather beautiful place to go to.

As it was still chilly, I decided to wrap up warm with my scarf, but still quite light for when the sun came out, hence the knees are on show. :)

Again, I'm using my beautiful new bag, and I'm trying to stop myself using it so much! I use it when I'm not at work on weekends, and I want to try using my other bags, as I don't want to ruin it. Saying that, I'm still getting some use out of them - just not as much as I'd like.

Scarf: H&M
Jeans: Next (Similar)
Jacket: Forever 21
Belt: Primark
Boots: Dorothy Perkins (similar)
Bag: Louis Vuitton (here
Watch: Michael Kors (here)

Hi Guys,

Recently, I tested out the Marc Jacobs Remarcable Foundation which I have had in my collection since last summer. I've been waiting for a very long time to test out this product, and wanted to keep hold of it until I could do a first impression video.

I purchased this for £37 from Harrods, and was colour matched to the shade 27 - Bisque Neutral. This was the perfect match for me whilst I was self tanned, and was a little worried that it wouldn't match me now, as I purchased this almost a year ago. I didn't have to worry, and even though the colour was a little light in the beginning, it oxidised during the day and became a better match.

You get 22ml of product in the bottle, and the packing is beautiful and sleek. To take out the foundation, you twist the handle, and there is a 'stick like tool with a dot' inside (it's very hard to explain), which helps to apply a couple of drops of the product.

If you don't know what my skin type is, I have oily combinations skin - very oily t-zone, blemishes, redness, sensitive, acne-prone and large pores.

I applied this foundation using my Sigma F80, as it says on the website that the best way to apply this, was by using a brush. I found that using a brush, it looked a little streaky (the problem that I have with using a brush with all of my foundations), so decided to go in and bounce my beauty blender on top to even out the coverage, and it looked perfect!

I think I applied a little too much of the foundation the first time, as it tended to look pretty bad on my skin after 9 hours. I tested it out the next day, and it lasted really well on my skin - better than the day before! This is why I feel that I applied too much in my first impression, as I applied a lot less.

The shade that I tested is 27 Bisque Neutral, which they say is a fair skin tone on the website. This is way darker than fair, and I feel as thought it's more light-medium as I used this when I was self tanned!

BEFORE & AFTER

Pros:

Makes the skin look flawless from up close and far away.
Amazing shade range - there are 22 with different undertones.
A little amount goes a very long way.
Will last a VERY long time as you only need a little amount.
Covers all imperfections - redness, blemishes, acne.
Lasts well over 9 hours on my very oily t-zone (I only needed to powder once during the day).
Easily buildable.
The rest of my Makeup glided on smoothly over the top.
Controls my oils for at least 7 hours.
The packaging is sleek, and the little dropper is a great way to apply the product.

Cons:

Expensive price.
Sinks into pores.
Oxidises during the day.

To see my thoughts on this foundation, check out the video above.

Enjoy,

Chloe xoxo
