Get Ready With Me!

09:00 0 Comments

Hi Guys,

So, I've finally uploaded a new Get Ready With Me. The last time I uploaded one of these videos, was probably last January, so about a year and a half ago!

I don't usually do Get Ready With Me videos, because I usually just have the same makeup look for quite a while for everything, so I don't feel that there's any need to give you the same look over and over again!

I decided to film a new video of me getting ready for a work event. I've had lots of these events recently, and I really love doing this makeup, as I don't use false lashes, and I use a slick of my favourite lipstick.

Also, I've been using new skincare and new makeup, so you'll see part of my skincare routine, and you'll see some new makeup which I am LOVING!

I love watching Get Ready With Me videos, as you can see how to recreate the makeup and I feel as though I'm getting ready with my viewers, so I love that I feel a little connection whilst doing it.

Check out how I created this makeup look, and I hope that you enjoy getting ready with me.

Also, I have a NEW GIVEAWAY at 5,000 subscribers - and we're less than 600 away! I'm so excited!

Enjoy,
Chloe xoxo

Testing Makeup Revolution Products!

Testing out Makeup Revolution Makeup | Full Face First Impression

Hi guys,
I've seen many youtube videos of full face first impressions, and one brand tutorials. So, I decided that I would start doing Full Face First Impressions of one brand.

This week, I tested out makeup from Makeup Revolution!

If you've followed me for a while on my channel, you'll know that I LOVE Makeup Revolution products, as they're very high quality for such an affordable price, and have some incredible dupes for high end products!

I've only tried blushes, liquid lipsticks and eyeshadow palettes from this brand before, so thought that it would be great to test out some other products from them. I have never tried any foundations, concealers, eyeliners or mascaras from them before, so decided to purchase some, and put them to the test. As I've never tried out these specific items before, it is a complete first impression on these types of products from Makeup revolution.

Check out my full face first impression (above), and my Makeup Revolution haul (below). I'll give you a little sneak peek with the first impression - some products I loved, and some I actually hated!

Products I tested out:
I heart Chocolate & Peaches Palette
Amazing Liquid Eyeliner - Waterproof
The Viper Mascara - Black
Ultra Brow Arch & Shape - Medium
Ultra Face Base Foundation  - FB03
Focus & Fix Liquid Concealer - 02 Fair
Luxury Powder - Banana
Golden Sugar 2 Rose Gold Palette
Salvation Liquid Lip Lacquer - What I Believe

Enjoy,

Running Late 15 Minute Makeup!

09:00 0 Comments

Hi Guys,
I was thinking of some new ideas for some videos, and thought 'why not do a running late makeup tutorial?'

The closest to this makeup which I have uploaded is my Back To School Makeup Tutorials which are great for a natural look for school, but I wanted to create something which was quicker, but still natural.

EX1 Cosmetics reached out to me, and wanted to try out their NEW Shades of their Invisiwear Liquid Foundation - which I had featured in my tanned colour in another makeup tutorial. If you have been following me for a while, you will know that I am OBSESSED with the EX1 Invisiwear Liquid Foundation, because it just stays fresh and glowy - without making me oily or shiny - and just looks super natural on the skin. It basically makes it look like your own skin but better!

I've been using the same products and the same routine for work for the past couple of months, and thought this was the best time for me to film a tutorial, and to show you how I achieve a flawless, natural look, in under 15 minutes!

This make up stays put all day, and doesn't make me oily or shiny - I have super oily skin, and tend to go oily after 4 hours! This makeup accentuates blue eyes, so is perfect for all of you blue-eyed beauties!

I hope you have fun recreating this tutorial, and I'll be back very soon with some more!

Enjoy,
Chloe xoxo

Christmas Day Makeup Tutorial!!!

14:55 0 Comments

Hi guys,

I have uploaded my second of both of my Christmas makeup tutorials. Incase you are struggling with any ideas for tomorrow's big day, then I have uploaded a couple of ideas which you might like to recreate.

This one is all about the bold red lips, and the glittery eyes - the glitter is iridescent so looks as though it is different colours in every light. The glitter which I have used is the SugarPill Lumi Loose Eyeshadow, which I have to say that I am obsessed with. using this with my Too Faced Glitter Glue, helps it to stay on ALL DAY AND NIGHT!

I love this classic look on Christmas, with the red, white, and green.

The majority of these products are Drugstore, but you can easily find dupes for the products which are high end. I have also used a product which is an incredible dupe for the Chanel Tan De Chanel Soleil Bronzer. I love this, and it works perfectly on my pale skin. An amazing point is that it is less than £5!

Enjoy the tutorial,
Chloe xoxo

Holiday Party Makeup Tutorial!

12:54 0 Comments

Hi Guys,

Every year, I am obsessed with the Holidays - Christmas is my favourite time of the year - and I always like a good excuse to film a new makeup tutorial. I didn't manage to create a Holiday tutorial last year, but uploaded a Get Ready With Me for Boxing Day.

I decided to do two different looks for the Christmas Holiday Season, and the first being my bold eyes, nude lips look. This look isn't as easy as the other, but it looks GORGEOUS!

I haven't really touched my TheBalm Nudetude Palette (swatches here) in a long time, but recently tried it again, and have fallen back in love with it! I wanted to make the eyes the main focus, so decided to add a pink-nude lip (Kate Moss Nude Lipstick in 45), which is great for all skin tones.

Almost all of these products used are drugstore and affordable, and anyone on any budget will be able to recreate this.

The tutorial is below for this look, and the new tutorial for the next look, will
be up tomorrow.

Enjoy,
Chloe xoxo

Back to School: Makeup Tutorial!

01:00 0 Comments

Hi Guys,

As a lot of you will be going back to school very soon (some of you have already started again), I thought that I would share a Back to School Makeup Tutorial for you.

All of the products that I have used are completely 100% Drugstore/Affordable, and this also includes all brushes and sponges used too.

I thought that this was a great look that anyone can recreate, including my sister who has just started school again. The eyes are subtle, with a hint of shimmer, and the lips do all of the talking! Also, it's super easy to recreate!

I used a new mascara in this video, and I have to tell you that I am a little obsessed with how it has made my eyelashes stand out!

Enjoy,
Chloe xoxo

My Perfect Nude Lip...

11:08 0 Comments

Hi guys,
If you have been watching some of my recent videos (from the last couple of months), you would have seen that the majority of the time, I have been sporting a Nude Lip.

I am slightly obsessed with the Nude Lips now, as I like to wear bold eyes with lashes, and I feel that a nude lip compliments it very well.

It's taken me a very long time to be able to find the 'perfect' Nude Lip for my skin tone - in Autumn and Winter I'm Porcelain; and am tanned in Spring and Summer. Even when I am tanned, I am still pale (I go up to an N3 in Loreal True Match), so I wanted to find the best shade which compliments both skin tones.

I have come to find that for us Pale Skin Girlies, we suit a nude shade best when it has a hint of pink to it. And I have found my Perfect Nude Lip products!

Ever since the whole 'Kylie Jenner Lip' thing came out last year, I had wanted to try one of the shades which she uses - Mac Velvet Teddy - but I didn't really want to pay £15 for it, so went on a little scavenger hunt to find something similar. So I went on a little scavenger hunt, and managed to find a shade which is almost identical, but has a smidge more pink to it, and I love it more than Velvet Teddy!

The lip products which I am talking about, are super affordable and are amazing! These are the Rimmel Kate Moss Lipstick in shade 03, and the Essence Lip Liner in 11 - In The Nude.

These products retail for £5.99 for the lipstick, and only £1 for the lipliner.

The lipstick has a gorgeous scent - smells a little like fruits and chocolate - and the colour it gives off is a super pigmented pinky nude shade. I absolutely love this look, and it goes with every colour of makeup I am wearing.

Whilst wearing this lip combo, I have had so many compliments and so many people asking me which shade I am wearing, and they can't believe that it's so affordable! It also lasts a good few hours on my lips, even with drinking and eating, which I love even more.

So for all of you fair skinned and lightly tanned girlies, this would be an amazing nude lip combo, which will compliment your skin amazingly!

I also have a makeup tutorial using these lip products for you.

Enjoy,
Chloe xoxo

How To Do A Quick & Easy Fishtail Braid!

14:40 0 Comments

Hey guys,

I've been wearing my hair in a fishtail braid quite a lot of the time since last year. I wore it to work, and casually, and so many people have asked me how I've done it! My work colleagues and my sister are all stunned by it, saying that it looks so difficult, and must have taken me such a long time.

In all honesty, it couldn't be simpler! Once I worked out how to do this braid, it took me about two tries and I literally perfected it! It's so quick and easy, and takes me five minutes to do!

It works for every hair length & thickness, and I can do it whilst wearing my extensions and you'd never know not all of it was my real hair!

Enjoy this little tutorial, and let me know if you found it easy. I've already had positive responses about how easy it is.

Chloe :) xoxo

Creepy Cat Halloween Make-up Tutorial!

03:39 0 Comments

Hi guys,
For Halloween, I was unsure of what I wanted to dress as. I also knew that I really wanted to create my first make-up tutorial for Halloween. I had a little think, and took my inspiration from one of my favourite movies - Alice In Wonderland. I also knew that I wanted to use affordable products, as like me, not a lot of you can afford to purchase expensive products - especially for only one night.
I managed to find a few products in my make-up storage, and also purchased some very affordable face paints to create the look. Also, as I am very prone to acne, I wanted an alternative for the face base than just face paint for those of you like me.
I created the look as a trial first, and uploaded a photo to my instagram and my facebook pages, and was overwhelmed by people saying how much they wanted a tutorial and how much they loved it! The next day, I filmed my tutorial, and was pretty happy with the outcome! Even my work colleagues were giving me amazing compliments on it!
So here is my complete make-up tutorial (above), and here is the list of the products which I used.
  • Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge
  • Rimmel Match Perfection in Light Porcelain
  • Snazaroo Face Paint in Black & White
  • Rimmel Soft Kohl Pencil in Black
  • Snazaroo face Paint Brushes
  • Bourjois Lady in Black Eyelashes
  • Technic Electric Palette (dupe for the Urban Decay Electric Palette for £1.99)

Enjoy!

Valentine's day!

09:39 0 Comments
A lot of you are absolutely crazy about Valentine's Day, and some are stuck with an idea on their makeup.
I thought I'd take this opportunity to make my own tutorial for this special day. I decided to use some new products that I haven't used before, so I was quite scared because I didn't know how it would turn out. Also, with tutorials, I don't try them out beforehand, so whatever's in the video, is literally my first take on doing this make-up look.
I wanted to keep the theme colours (reds and pinks), but thought that I wanted a quite strong eye colour and lip colour, but not make it go too crazy! this is why I decided to just sticks with pinks. I did a beautiful multi tonal pink eye, with the drama of the flicked eyeliner and false lashes, but then kept the colour for the lips to a cute, baby pink. This way, you're attracted to both the eyes and the lips, but one doesn't take over the other.
I was a bit worried about using my bright pink Dainty Doll eye shadow, as it was fluorescent pink and knew that if you put a light, neutral shade over the top, it would make a beautiful coloured pink for the eyes. (plus the lighter shade had shimmer, so made it look beautiful).

Check out my video on this makeup look, and make sure to subscribe to my YouTube channel here.

Chloe :)
