My Skin Secrets - Lush Bubblegum Lip Scrub

14:06 0 Comments
 Hey guys,

I know that it has been a couple of weeks since I last posted about a Skin/ Makeup Secret of mine, so I thought I should post another one today!

I wanted to talk about this product, as i don't really say a lot about it on my channel. This is the secret to my smooth lips throughout the year.

Its the Lush Bubblegum Lip Scrub and it retails for £5.50, and is available from www.lush.co.uk.

The first things that drew me to this, were the super bright pink colour and the gorgeous smell - it literally smells like bubblegum! Also, it's edible, so you can scrub your lips and lick it off, and have the taste of candy floss! As with all Lush products, it's Animal Cruelty Free!

I use this when I wake up, and before I go to bed, and it keeps my lips super soft before I apply my lip balm or lip stick. It doesn't dry my lips out, and keeps them slightly moisturised.

I definitely recommend trying this product out if you are suffering from super dry lips, or you just want a smooth finish for the base of your lipstick, lipgloss or lip balm. I love it, and I don't know where I would be without it!

Love Chloe xoxo

Paris Vlogs: Days 3 & 4!

04:13 0 Comments
Hi Guys,

As you will know, I had a little holiday in Paris at the beginning of february, and I vlogged my holiday to keep a mini video diary of what I did there.

For day 3, we went to Disney Studios and also Disneyland, where it started to snow just as we got into the park! It was a beautiful day, and we created our own animation!

Day 4, was our last day in Paris and we decided to do everything again for one last time. We did some more shopping at La Vallee Village, finished shopping in Disney Village, and headed off again to Disney Studios.

We had an amazing time and I definitely recommend that you goon holiday to Paris if you love Disney. Also, as we booked our holiday through Disney, we got a much cheaper and better deal than going elsewhere.

Check out the last day below or the whole holiday on my youtube channel here!

Enjoy,
Chloe :) xoxo

How To Do A Quick & Easy Fishtail Braid!

14:40 0 Comments

Hey guys,

I've been wearing my hair in a fishtail braid quite a lot of the time since last year. I wore it to work, and casually, and so many people have asked me how I've done it! My work colleagues and my sister are all stunned by it, saying that it looks so difficult, and must have taken me such a long time.

In all honesty, it couldn't be simpler! Once I worked out how to do this braid, it took me about two tries and I literally perfected it! It's so quick and easy, and takes me five minutes to do!

It works for every hair length & thickness, and I can do it whilst wearing my extensions and you'd never know not all of it was my real hair!

Enjoy this little tutorial, and let me know if you found it easy. I've already had positive responses about how easy it is.

My Skin Secrets: Acne Blemish Stick

08:32 0 Comments

Hi guys,

Welcome to my new weekly blog posts all about my skincare secret weapons. There are some absolutely amazing products that i have found that work amazingly for my skin. Some are makeup products, some are skincare, and some also work amazingly for my hair.

The first product that I wanted to introduce you to, I haven't spoken about before on my youtube channel or my blog.

It's the Witch Blemish Stick! A great thing about this product is that it is super affordable, and retails for only £2.70.

The blemish stick is like a gel when you apply it, with a hint of blue-green colour. The smell isn't super strong, and certainly not off-putting. If you run out of product, you simply push up from the bottom, and it lasts a very long time!

Now, I know this isn't a new product - it's been around for years and years. As you will know, I suffer from acne and the majority of products don't care for my super sensitive skin. I use this twice a day - once in the morning and once at night - but states on the packaging it can be used as many times as you like.

I actually found out about how good this product was from both my Mum and my older Sister Kayleigh. They both used to use it when they were suffering from acne in their teens and they swear by it. I can honestly say, I agree 100% and this is an amazing and perfect product for my skin, and I have noticed a really big different in how my skin has been acting. It's helping it get clear without irritating my skin.

If you're suffering from acne, or even a little blemish, I definitely recommend that you try it out. You won't be disappointed and you will also notice a difference within a day or two. For under £3, you can't lose.

Chloe,
xoxo

Why I Changed My Youtube Name & My New Passions!

01:01 0 Comments

Hi guys,

If you're subscribed to my youtube channel, you will know that since the start, my youtube name has been 'chloeluckinphotos'. When I first started youtube, I was literally obsessed with photography, and I had a lot of work under my belt from photography.

I also wanted my youtube channel to reflect on my photography, and to help others out  who had the same passion as myself. Unfortunately, there has been a recent circumstance last year, that has changed my views on photography. I DO like doing photography, but it's just made me not like it as a
job anymore.

Recently, I've been very passionate about hair and beauty - I recently qualified in Hair Extensions - and I just love people's faces when I change their entire look in the matter of a couple of hours. I feel more artistic, and I don't feel as though it's a job when I do it. I recently had a client who said that she doesn't understand how I can stand for up to 3 hours, applying someones extensions and not get bored. To which I replied that I have to constantly concentrate, and I look forward to seeing their faces when I'm finally finished. You may not realise it, but some people have their hair as their confidence, and they are so much more happier and bubblier with longer or thicker hair.

I'm also passionate about Videography and Vlogs. I had so much fun filming my current holiday to Paris - it's so much easier to take around a little hand held camera than a giant SLR camera! I like being able to record memories than to just take a photo. With videos, you can witness that specific moment over and over again, whereas with a photo, you just look and imagine the memory behind the photo. I love it!

Which brings me onto my new name change - it's simply just 'chloe luckin'. There are so many things that I'm passionate about and things that I love doing (and theres not one specific thing that I always want to do),  that i felt as if it was so much easier for you guys to find me with just having my name.
I feel as though this reflects better in my channel - especially as I don't think I have ever done a video about photography before, which is a little odd being as though the name promoted my photography!

Thank you for reading, and thank you so much for your support!

Chloe :) xoxo

February GlossyBox Review...The Love Edition!

13:10 0 Comments

As you know, I have recently subscribed to the Glossy box monthly beauty subscription service and I haven't been too impressed with the products i've received in my last two boxes.
Because of this, I wasn't too sure on how I would feel about the February box, but thought I'd give it a go because I was pretty excited about the lip butter which everyone receives in their box. In this box, you receive 5 full size products, all with the theme of LOVE and Valentine's Day, so I thought it was brilliant.

I tested out four of the products every day for about a week, so I could give my best opinion and review for each of the products - the only one I haven't tested out is the Wilkinson Sword razor.
The products I received in the box are below in the photo, and I have to say that I'm super impressed with the products I received. Honestly, from the first moment I saw the items, when I opened the box, I literally fell in love with the products!

Above, is also my review on every product in the glossy box, so you can see if they're worth purchasing, or if they're just plain bad products.

If you would like to join glossy box here

Enjoy, and don't forget to subscribe to my youtube channel here
